Last week a huge order from Stampin’ Up! arrived. It was fantastic! I was like a kid on Christmas morning all weekend, so many ideas so little time…
- where to start?
- what should I play with first?
- Do I really have to go and buy groceries? I want to keep crafting!
So here’s the first of (what I hope are many) great projects. I’m planning to share more than “just a card” projects in the next little while. And tutorials will now be featuring short videos, now that I’ve figured out how to use iMovie
This project was inspired by the Level 1 Hostess Set “Dry Goods” on page 4 of the Definitely Decorative Brochure. We have stainless steel canisters for dry goods in our kitchen. (Stainless steel canisters look pretty on the shelf, but it’s hard to tell what’s in them without taking everything out of the cupboard.) The “Dry Goods” set seemed like a good idea, but the labels wouldn’t meet our needs. So what’s a girl to do? Why make your own Decor Elements of course!
Supplies for this project:
- Decor Elements Sheets, available in Kraft, Chocolate, White and Black (page 7 of the Definitely Decorative brochure)
- Decor Elements Applicator (item 114285)
- Big Shot (item 113439)
- Timeless Type Alphabet Junior (item 115951)
