I am so thankful to be involved with a company that shows their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others when it is most needed! Stampin’ Up! has donated thousands of hygiene kits which will be distributed to families in need in Haiti, you can read all about it on Shelli’s (the CEO of SU) blog. In addition, Stampin’ Up! will be donating $2 for every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set sold between now and the end of February to the Red Cross for Haiti relief efforts. As of February 5th, over 7500 stamp sets have been sold!
As we all know, every little bit helps. So I am offering a free class to go along with the stamp set. If you sign up for the class on Thursday March 11 (7 to 9 pm), you will simply be paying for the stamp set and I will provide all the supplies for the projects. If you’d like to participate, you must register (with payment) by Tuesday February 23, so that I can order enough stamp sets for everyone. Here are your options:
- Order the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set, and come to the class for free. Cost is $45 (for the stamp set). When you register, please let me know if you’d prefer:
- The wood mount stamp set, or
- The clear mount stamp set with clear block D
- You want to come to the fundraiser class, but don’t want to purchase the stamp set. You will need to provide $20 to reserve your spot which will be donated to the Red Cross.
- You can’t come on the 12th, but want to help out. Order a stamp set and I’ll provide the class supplies and instructions when I deliver your stamp set.
Come out, have fun and raise some much needed funds for the people of Haiti! I hope you’ll be able to join us!
February 12, 2010 update: Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are going strong with their Haiti relief efforts—9409 sets sold so far!
