So I’m an eager beaver, and those who know me well, know that I usually dive in to things whole-hog (nothing is done half-way in my family). Stamping is no exception. This spring I got on the swapping bandwagon, and I’m sending my samples to be swapped out last week and this week (all 69 card fronts and 168 techniques samples) . (Don’t know what a swap is, read all about it here.) The first swaps I signed up for were Eve Marie’s techniques swap and DSP (designer series paper) swap. I sent 168 techniques samples plus 24 card fronts to her last week, and I’ll be receiving my technique samples back in a few weeks, and the DSP samples will come back in September. This is what 168 3″x4″ samples look like. I can only imagine what Eve Marie’s table will look like when she swaps out over 4800 samples to send back to us (YIKES!).
(And I’m pretty sure that Canada Post didn’t have this in mind when they say that anything can go into an expresspost envelope as long as you can close it!)
The good news is that I will have a catalogue of techniques to share with you come September. I’ll share the specifics of the samples in the photo above in the coming weeks. And eventually I’ll have the samples posted online for you to browse, and select which techniques you’d like me to demonstrate in your next class. (Although that’s a whole lot of photos to share, if you’re keen, it’d be faster for you to come and see the binder in person as I assemble it!) That’s all for now. Happy crafting!
